Founded in 2002, Ocean provides a fresh alternative to traditional means of raising capital.

We have closed more than 25 transactions since 2003. Ocean has underwritten over €170m of equity in the following selection of Bank and Corporate transactions.

True entrepreneurs are risk averse
Risk is at the heart of what we do because the performance of assets is uncertain. But we are not gamblers and we are risk averse as we do not deal with what we do not understand.

We stand or fall on our reputation
We are not traders in the Wall Street sense. We believe in the older kind of trading, when free men came together in the marketplace. One with something to sell, others willing to buy—and often someone ready to lend money to finance more of the seller’s goods. These traders would work together time and again because of the trust they built up from the first deal. Such mutual benefit leads to more business and greater prosperity.

Ocean Capital Associates LLP has been regulated and authorised by
the Financial Services Authority (FSA) since December 2003. We joined the
Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME–ESF) in 2004 and
became a member of the Hedge Fund Standards Board in June 2009.
